Whew! Glad you said you didn't want to alter yours, Steve. I thought that was a pretty radical way to get rid of the gasoline smell!

The smell is almost gone. setting the screwdriver to shut off the light and leaving trunk open at night and laying out wadded newspapers in closed trunk during the day really works. I took out the newspapers at the end of the day to leave trunk open, and the paper smells of gasoline....works good!

Not yet. But the mail had not arrived by the time I left for work. Maybe it got there today. One thing I've learned over the years is that mail moves a LOT faster when going east-west in the U.S. than it does going north-south.

Good. Oh! Your calendars package arrived today. Thank you! They are truly excellent! Plus, I now have a calendar for practically every room in the house. It should be interesting to see if visitors note that we're proudly advertising a dentist in Michigan in a house in Texas.
