It will ! My car is loved by both sexes for differant resons . Ladys like the B3 light blue ,white interior/white top it is a pritty car. Men like the duel exhaust ,rally hood , 4 barrel carb. the old and new challengers are just perfect cars .

doe's anyone here have the address for the Brampton plant I.E (BUDMAN) if so do a googel earth fly over and see what they have sitting on the lot that needs to be shiped. just a thought.

i just got off the phone with my brother in law who heard from his buddy who works at the challenger plant that the delay is due to chrysler concern over high gas prices...evidently chrysler is swapping out the hemi's for engines left over (6400 left over engines or so) from when the neon was being built....seriously...they should be here shortly...the one person in my area who has one ordered is even starting to get very anxious due to the delay (which is not a delay because we all knew june was the month)...if nobody has one after june then we all should be very concerned

Maybe they're trying to round up enough Vespas to include one in the trunk of every SRT8 Challenger so the new owners can actually afford to drive someplace. ;)

If I dont have a car by June I will cancel my order and just keep driveing a shelby .If we could all unite and let the dealers know this is fixing to cost them there sales that have way above MSRP maybe we could get someone to start geting us some information .There has already been people back out of there 08 I could order a 09 rt and be just as happy if a few weeks is going to be the only difference in geting a 08 or 09 its not worth all the extra cash .

I'm not blaming Chrysler for delaying things. They obviously want to make sure the car comes off the line in flawless condition. A mistake on a car that's been hyped up like this one could spell real bad news for Chrysler.

However, I also agree that due to the severe delay the '08 is probably becoming less appealing to buyers day-by-day. One of the main pulls about the '08 was getting it so much earlier than everyone else. That benefit is fading fast.

With the confirmation of Hemi Orange for the '09 SRT8 they're already lost several '08 buyers to '09s for price-reasons and for the 6-speed (myself included -- I pulled my deposit on an '08 for an '09)

I don't want Chrysler to rush the car out the door, but at the same time I'm seeing more and more people pulling their '08 deposts and going for an '09 instead.

Yup. I'm in that boat too. I just pulled the deposit on my Challenger and bought an '08 Charger RT Daytona. In a year or so, I'll come back and look again. The thrill of getting an '08 Challenger has already worn off...and I didn't even get to see it!
