goodmorning ---yes i am still in d1 status ---and says its going to ship on 5/30, Chrysler needs to get their - - - - together and just get us our cars..we were all excited when we were getting what we thought was correct information and now dont trust a damn word Chrysler's system says....yes i am still excited about getting my car i hope soon and cant wait to fight off all the mecaphilia men who will be all over it LoL--google it-- ok guys have a great day and hurry up and wait like me

I think they will have a few shipped by the end of the month, if not they really need to hurry up.

I hope they hurry up and ship yours to you, I would like a report once your able to put down that pedal and turn the wheel. Once you have yours I may get in D-1 wait. Hopefully something will start moving next week. Hopefully Budman will let us know when they start shipping to Windsor, once that happens your car will be in transit very soon. Please keep up with daily status changes & delivery, so once we reach a certain status when will know when to anticipate the arrival of our cars. Good luck!

 

THIS JUST IN They have not shipped any cars out of the plant yet and they are building less than 50 a day BUT they hope to start releasing cars this weekend to send over to Windsor for decal and shipment

 

Budman, has there been any talk of adding a third shift ,or overtime to speed things up , What part of putting these together is differant then the 300's and chargers that makes it so time consuming?

They say that Windshield angle, 2 door's not 4, Different SRT package than 300,Charger, shorter wheelbase for all of there manual settings, and TRIM parts are different and they are making engineering changes on the building proses as they go so they can speed up production. They say that they want to make sure that all of the cars are perfect before they release them. No 3rd shift but they are using OT to clear the Challengers for shipping

 

50 cars a day, are you kidding me? They've offically been running production for over two weeks and this is all they can do. No wonder there is so little status movement.

 

Today FRI 5/23 is the 9th production day Friday the 9th was the first day I don't think they got allot done that day. Then they were off SAT & SUN they worked Mon5/12--Thurs 5/15 off FRI THRU MON for holiday. They worked TUE-FRI this week and will be off for the weekend and return to work MON Thru Fri next week. Remember the new Chrysler cut the 3rd shift and almost all overtime.

 

Better to go a little slow at the front end rather than ship a bunch with glitches. That can really kill a car line fast.
