Joanni,Budman all I,m on the edge of my seat post 35 on red letter dodge the writer implies that the plan is to get the one car to each dealer then work on geting two and threes out... his other facts mirror budmans info he state that there are 2700 dealers if thats the case Im half way there wahoo!! Yippie!!

Joanni. what do you think about the post about one to each dealer first?

 

Well since I have no hope of geting a vin any were close to 100 I am hopeing for 1701 justy like the enterprise . I hope dodge does see that each dealer gets a car before anyone gets there 2nd car .I am still in D status and my dads been seting in D1 for weeks now . Maybe we will see some movement.

mopar2ya, thanks for the link to Challenger Order Tracking. I tried logging in with the info the dealer gave me:

Ryan Fuller (name on the order I'm told) and the last eight of the vin: 2B3LJ74W18H300642, but no luck. Does anyone have a way of checking on the vin for me? Thanks in advance!

 

Phill call 1 800 992 1997 say" something else" then say "continue" then give your last 8 digets 8h?????? you will then not be transferd to india and just ask for the statis of your car... the tracker will only work if you are d1 and above Geoff

 

May be that you have not made it to a status of D1 yet. Cars will only show up in the tracker after they reach D1. Best bet is to call the 1-800 number, or even try your dealer, they can pull it up in thier system and give you status.

Once it reaches D1 you should be able to follow it in a very generic form on the tracker. I've heard the tracker is updated in such a way that it lags a day behind, so you will really be a little farther than the tracker reports. Do keep in mind though that they go real quick once they start the actual build... then it looks like there has been a delay in inspection, but maybe they are getting on top of the inspection a little better now too. The post I was refering to was on red letter dodge its about the 38th post by jono He said that there were 2700 dodge dealers and each would get "one" first then the rest would be divied out , that has got me going.. I have a very high vin but I am the one and only at my dealers Geoff

 

I have claim to Challenger #1 at my dealer and still sitting in a status 'D'... In fact, just made it to status 'D' last Wed May 21... again...
