ill bet mercedes benz is more thankful every day the dodge omen has been tossed out with the holy water...who has a car and what options were ordered?..my guess is they built the privelaged owners cars first and then those cars with few if any options.....its also possible if the plant operates in a just in time order system that some optional parts may be in short supply (i dunno)....it may also be that those here have not properly greased the palm of the corporate guys....well...you just dont matter...i dont have a bone in this but i do feel bad for you guys....just think if the first silver car ordered was #9 and the guy ends up with #6350.....kinda reminds me of the first prisoner at leavenworth being an indian...all the notorious crooks of the time went onto the cart first and shafted the poor indian...basically made the indian sit in back of the horse wagon..what they failed to understand was those in the back were first to get off..(i know worthless trivia)...now...who wants a 2010 with none of this %$#@@%&^?..yea cerbus sure has changed auburn hills

Some challengers are starting to ship now. I was right on the cause well one cause. I will update later as soon as I can verify with another source.

 

 

Only Option I ordered was tires. Do you think there is a shortage of tires?

 

I ordered every option and mine is i KZ. If you look at the registry the majority of the cars delivered have at least 2 of the 3 options. The majority in KZ have all options.

Hey Budman,

Were you able to verify what the new hold up is? It's getting extremely frustrating (from frustrating). My car keeps going from reaching the Quality step on June 5th to June 9th and back and forth.

What about a possible rationale as to how they are building the cars. They build one car for all the high volume dealers sequentially first and then switch to the rest of the lower volume dealers to provide the one car. They then finish the remaining cars. I guess that a possibility.

As of today I am told I am in D1 status, with an estimated ship date of July 3. So.....two to three weeks after that? Four to five weeks after Jul 3?
