Well, apparantly the dam broke on Dec. 10. I went to D1 and so did a kazillion others. I'm going to miss the whole summer but I guess the Fall will be nice with the sunroof. Does anyone know when the 2009 SRT8's are supposed to be built? The dash number means little to me and IF I can get a cheaper 2009 with a better rear end and only wait a short time, then I'll just wait longer.

70sguy, good for you. The way this is going ours may ride the same train to the south. My car has been in inspection for at least 2 days. I finally saw a Hemi Orange Daytona in the sun light today.It will be OK, I had concerns about that color.

Thanks, That will be cool! I am so relieved now that there is some progress. we are throwing my mom and dad a 50yr anniversary party this Saturday. probably 150 to 180 people and they don't have a clue. So that will take my mind off a little. But i'm sure all my relatives and friends will ask about it though. At least now I can tell them it is built and on the way baby.

Mad props dude, they look so right w/ greyed souls on their tires w/ debris in them.....you know like real cars...these things are going to age nicely! Patina...yes?

Also,
Car # 208 made it to Glenn E Thomas Dodge in Long Beach, CA today. One of the few in CA except Jay Leno. Its hemi orange with all the options. Car looked awesome. Great presence. If you remember the concept and show cars had a huge gap in the trunk compartment, on this one alll the gaps were small and precise and even. Car looked like real quality. Only complaints were the steering wheel, and the mild exhaust note. It definitely needs a throatier exhaust. This car was ordered by a Chrysler exec probably as a favor for somebody. Hopefully normal people will start getting theirs soon. And again obviously, order time and vin # have nothing to do with the cars that are arriving.
