Joani,
What a bummer! This has been the story of the challenger all along. It's almost as if the left hand isn't working with the right hand. In all my time, I have never heard of such shennigans to deliver a car (product) especially one worth +$40k. Where is the loyalty & respect to the customer that has spent their money during these troubled times. I believe Dodge missed the boat on delivery & destination charges due to fuel cost rising, but they should have saved plenty by not providing concept interior, wheels & truly functional hood scoops. We had nothing to do with OPEC.

70sguy,
I would have to agree with you. This will be my 11th Dodge and I have been a big Dodge guy. I've pushed Dodge all my life. Everyone where I work drive imports and have put Dodge down with me trying to defend Dodge. Now I'm getting it big time from my coworkers "I told you what a crappy company Dodge is". They just couldn't wait to point out the problems. How does Dodge ever expect to turn around if this is happening? Talk about bad publicity. I'm even questioning what's going on.

I believe the whole delay is based off of Dodge not meeting their estimated deivery allowance of $675, per challenger. They have balked and searched until they found opportunities to meet or nearly their estimate. Of course, we are the real losers in all of this. But once we receive our car, we will forget about all of this bull.

Everyones yellin' bummer....
I think it's great that you will have it Monday. Great that it's just down the road, and not in D, or D1. Your baby is close to home. Just one weekend away from having it in the driveway!
