Just wanted to report that I am now the owner of a 2008 Dodge Challenger. I gave up on the one I had ordered that (I think) the
dealer had given to someone else. I saw it at the local dealer and had to have it. Silver with all the options, # 1273. Love it.
Cant go anywhere without getting comments, questions, someone wanting to see the engine or take a picture of it.

 

Congratulations ru1041... where were you able to secure the new addition? Did the dealer cut you a decent deal? Have any pics and first impressions you would share with those of us who are still waiting?

Everyone else, it's kind of scary that I have my vin number memorized. I'm 52 and have owned a lot of cars. This is the first vin number I've known.

Watched Barrett Jackson last night. The Cuda concept car sold for $145,000. Heck I would have paid that... if I'd known it was up for bid... if I had the money... if.... I can't believe some Cuda collector didn't drop some big money on it.

The No. 1 2009 ZR1 Corvette sold for $1,000,000.

 

Thanks, I got it in Columbus, Ga., First one in town. They wanted 20k over to begin with, I told them 5 over. It took several days,
but they gave it to me for 5k over. My first impression, besides the great looks is that it handles and rides great. Lots of compliments.
