Hi joani I have a question 70's guy said that are cars being stored in a parking lot as others built after ours are being striped and badged I talked to my dealer and he told me what dodge told him that badging is done by vin so I hope I should have alow badge # even if other people are getting thier cars first do you have any thoughts on this and if you can find anything on 8h290173 thanks a lot Joani enjoy your car drive safe

No vv or report from budman on status on parking lot. I was asuming that was a bad sign right off the bat. And I'm starting to realize no news is better than bad news

i questioned many people about the time it was sitting on a train as well.
i was told by a station master, that due to the economy, they were holding trains till they were loaded to full capacity, to save fuel.
either way, knowing my car was sitiing in a train yard for almost two weeks was pure torture.
personally i think chry letting us get into the site to see the progress of our vehicles was a big mistake.
chry should have just said they will be done by august and we all would have patiently waited.

Harold, I may be wrong but I don't think badges are done by vin. They are done in no particular order. I have seen vin in 302 range with low badge

Yeah,
I believe your right. I just can't wait to get my car and see that I am badge number 5,000 to 6,000 something of 6400, and everyone else has received theirs and to think mine was ordered 12/3 by 9:46 am. All you can do is sit back and laugh.
There is no sense in getting in a hurry for it. MY dealer said yesterday they heard they were to get a car next week. The second ordered car I suppose.

Badges are assigned in numerical order as they pass through Windsor G E plant that is the last stage an early vin or order number means nothing read my posts from 7/3 and you will see where they are at. So they are running numerically
