MOPAR2YA, I monitor 5 Challenger websites and like 3 or 4 Challenger newes sites like REDLETTER site and others and that is the latest news that I know of......The Very best sources are BUDMAN and Joani who is helping a tremendous amount with VV reports. I to am waiting patiently as I've ordered a 2009 back on May 15 and have a VON number but it hasn't moved from BA status as of yet. I see others here with 2009 orders that have gone to BX status and 2 even have Vin numbers and they ordered weeks after I did. So its messed up for 2009's it looks like ....OH well what can we do but WAIT!!!!!!!!!!ARGHHHHHHHHHH Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]

Thanks for getting back fatcat... but now you got me worried. My car does not appear to be firmly scheduled so doesnt leave a lot of time to build it. Them builders and inspectors and ground effectors better get bustin if thier gonna get mine out in time. Hopefully they have a plan B in case time runs short. Seems Ive also heard the scheduled order for the 09s flip around several times... do you happen to know if this is the latest?

TA DA!!!!! the BUDMAN ....Brampton Plant shutdown runs from July 14 thru July 27, production resumes on Monda, July 28. Now this is not from Budman but I have heard that they will finisf up all 2008 SRT8's and then start the SE's and R/T's right after that. If anyone knows different please feel free to correct. Good luck to all that have ordered any Challengers!!! Fat Cat can't wait to do some...[sm=gears.gif]

I made shipping status yesterday too. Our cars have moved together for about a month. I can't believe that bad machine is built. Now, if we can avoid a two week train ride like Dodge24 we'll be stylin soon.

My first drive!!!
I got my Hemi-orange beauty today and what a head turner. Must have had a dozen thumbs up while driving. 70-120 in a split second(what break in) It handles like it is on rails. Rides as good as my avalance. The seats fit perfect. I was going to only drive a couple of hundred miles a year-THAT AIN'T HAPPENING.. it's just to much fun to drive. Be careful it's hard to keep your foot out of it.
The bad
The ground effects in front are LOW I rubbed it backing out of a friends driveway when i was crawling. The window is a little high if you like to hang out your arm out while driving. Has a few blind spots. I lugged it once at full throttle from the start. I haven't since though so don't know if that is an issue. Every one of your friends will want to drive it..but that's not a bad thing really-share the wealth. Jim

It is really something that can't be explained intill you sit your rear in it. Nothing has come close to the instant love I have for this car. It means more to me than my first ride did a 55 chevy Belair. You are going to be so happy Andre. My heart is still pumping. Jim

My Car arrived today at 1115 am today. The neighbors were all out with their cameras. There is even one guy who has lived down the street from me for 5 months and never spoke a single word, he came down with his mouth wide open. The wife and I went out and put 30 miles on her real quick. Going to clean her up some when it cools down (105 right now) then go for another ride. This old Soldier is happy today.
