I've worked with a lot of people in my past that have come from shops and I can say from my experiences that s are not the most efficient or productive work environments out there. They have become complacent and do no more than they absolutely have to. I know my beliefs in no way represent the entire workforce, just my experiences.

 

There is a possible 4th reason for my car being lost in the Pillette Road Hole. KARMA. I may have pissed someone off and KARMA is paying me back.

 

does any body know if or how the remote start works. the two fobs that i got with the car only have lock/unlock panic and trunk. I can't find anything else

I was just looking at my past dates and I have a theory. Since my car has been built, the updates in the VV have been on Wednesdays. The first one was on June 11. (Then there was one on the 12th) Then on June 25th. (Followed by the 26th) Then again on July 2nd. (Followed by the 4th)

I'm beginning to think they only go down to Pillette Road on Wednesday's to get a list of all the cars that are still there. If our cars ship this week, I'll be very surprised. I can't see them starting on the Pillette Road cars until the Brampton plan shuts down. I really hope I'm wrong.

 

I don't think the 08 has the remote start. But since I haven't received my car yet, I'm not 100% sure.

 

I thought I saw Joani posting about it. I picked my car yesterday afternoon it the dealer. everything went ok. found a couple of faws like a chiped taillight, A very small ding down low on the rear quarter, and a buffer burn on one of the corners. Its is an awsome car though. I managed to get 1705/6400 know my wife and I are figuring out all the little gagits on it

I wont tell you this was all ok, but I saw more movement in the last 3 work days then the whole month prior. I was in storage on Pillete Rd, as well as many others. I have seen these go KZ over the last few days.

 

I may be wrong, but if the numbers are correct, more cars are going to G E from Brampton than are coming from Pillette Rd. I don't think Pillette Rd. will start to see any significant change in quantity of cars being store until the Brampton plant shuts down for the mandatory 2 week vacation coming up.

 

Mine did not show on VV, but it had been to GE prior to storage. Now it is KZ and still shows no ground effects. I thought it was odd so I have looked back on a few that show no mention on GE.... Just JB

sorry, no remote start for '08, but there is a nice mention of it in the owners manual...
