Now I'm nuts.

The "insight" web site shows sitting in Detrot since 7/16. It had a line under that that read it would ship at 12:01 AM on 7/21.

Now that last line on the report is gone.

I could have pushed it from Detroit to Chicago fatster.

Anyone have any idea what happens after the deliver line falls off the "insight" ?

I have watched the deliver line change 5 times since the 15th. I am on a rail car now, but out of Sterling Heights, and not Melvindale. Seems odd, but just getting placed on a railcar this morning will make my Monday MUCH better.

I want to ask any of you 2008 Challenger owners who are experienced in this post if there is any way at all to check the status of a VON number. I have ordered a 2009 and the order is in my own name and not the dealers name but it has the dealer code and a VON number and it was ordered on May 15th and is still in BA status after all this time. Is my dealer BS ing me and doesn't have the allocation ? what do you think? HELP!!!! Fat Cat

 

Not to worry Jim... just means that they went beyond the original scheduled shipping and delivery. It WILL be OK... just give it a little more time and patience, you will see your car with a new schedule soon.

Nope, I went by the train yard with some binoculars this morning, I could see it. I found out the trucking company, called them, they are waiting on another challenger to arrive tomorrow before they will deliver to the dealer. So I will cross my fingers until tomorrow.
