Called 1 800 992 1997
They confirmed both VON & VIN numbers and confirmed it was in "D" status and firm schedule.
Asuured me it will be built, it is in my name and gave me a reference number.
Could not confirm that the Challenger production line was actually running, nor could he confirm any production dates, nor could he comment on VIN sequence production.
But....the good news is, it will be built - it is in my name. When I told him of the Challenger tracking site, it was news to him, he had no idea.
My VIN is in the low 30's

wow Joani, so much conflicting information...it must be driving you crazy... they tell you that your car is on a rail car in Kansas, and they tell you its at the rail yard and will be deivered 5/6, now they tell you that it is too low to be loaded on a rail car... just to confuse you even more, what does the Dodge order tracking system say when you look your car up??? I am still back to D[:@]

Well im still stuck in D status my dads car is in D1 and I am able to track it on the new site .So at least someone is makeing progress .His car is Black with the tires add . His vin is in the 290 area so I have no idea how they are building the cars .
I sure hope somone gets a badge number on the cars in Darlington

tupperware it is crazy...mine was supposed to show up today like Joani's yet mine showed up in the tracking system today as D1.
Yours (I hear you say) was in the tracking system as D1 but now back to D and not in the tracking system...it is crazy!
My dealer says he has no clue...he looks at one system and it says D and another says D1.
I am finding it very entertaining!
