Default Why do we see so few Challengers in the wild

I was thinking that the reason we see so few Challengers on the road is it appears most 08's are weekend cruisers and 09's have yet to hit the streets in mass. So my questions are, how do you drive your car, when did you take possession, and how many miles so far?

1) daily driver
2) weekend cruiser
3) show car (seldom drive)
4) stored (collectable)

Mine personally is a weekend cruiser (2). I received it in late June and have around 1200 miles. What about everyone else?

Talked with a Senior Dodge Tech at a car show last night. He stated major problems with the 09 manuals. As fast as the cars come in they go out the front door but, they are back in the back door broke just as fast. Tranny syncros are a MAJOR problem. His words, "miss a gear it's all over" . He also said the best tranny off the Brampton line, SRT8 automatic. Said wouldn't buy a manual, not with his money.

Just sharing what I was told. To prove the point, he has an SRT8 09 on order, it's an auto.

That is very sad if that is true.......certainly part of the problem our American car companies have been having is quality and reliability.

I hope they get it fixed, since that is my preference.

Weekend warrior here. I have had my car a bout a week and a half and have a little over 300 miles and not a problem one yet. I have the 6 speed and it works like a charm.
