Wooohooo!

Aw MAN! What a great day! I just hooked up with MossOnaRoc today for lunch and he took me for a ride in his 08 SRT. As you guys know, until now, I havent seen a Challenger in the flesh. I was totally Floored! Im still trying to pick my Jaw up off the floor. The Black is REALLY nice in person, much better than in the pics. And the Carbon stripes go better with it than I imagined.
Forget about the grin! My heart skipped a beat when I first saw it! All I could say for the first 5 mins was "Oh my God" over and over. Ive seen a few ferraris and lambos, but this car REALLY takes the cake. I was laughing to myself all the way home as well. Its been about two hours since my ride and Im still smiling. My first stop after my ride was to see my dealer. Guess what he had....A silver SE sitting on the lot that just came in today. The silver looks really nice on the car as well. Even without the hood stripe. He said there is another one 10 mins away in Mainz-Kastel as well. Not sure of the color on that one. Ill go check it out tommorrow. I have kind of mixed feelings about seeing the SE on the lot. I was actually hoping that my SRT would be the first one in the area. It should still turn some heads, especially in Red with the Racing stripe, but Im not so sure about the Rock Star status anymore.
Moss has had his for only a few weeks now, but we both noticed how quiet the car is until you get on it. I reminded him that they are supposed to get louder with time, but I hope the manuals exhaust is a little more aggressive. Still an AWESOME experience. He pegged it a few times to give me an idea of what it could do, but lunch-time traffic was still a bit dense, so we behaved. I cant wait to get mine on the Autobahn and really see what it can do. Sitting in the car for the first time really gave me an idea of what Im for! I knew I was getting a great car, but this really drives it home. The wait will be TOTALLY worth it!
[sm=thanx.gif] Thanks again to Moss for the ride! You made my day, man! [sm=thanx.gif]
