You know the Chally has hit the spot when...
Current Ford owners are thinking of getting Challengers, and/or are jealous of this car, A coworker of mine recently told me that if he had known the Challenger was going to be this good looking he would have waited and bought one instead of a Ford Mustang GT! and he is somewhat of a ford fan!
I just though it was interesting, Since I see a lot of Mustang owners very interested in this car, I myself have been a Dodge fan forever, My first muscle car was a 69 R/T Charger, hemi orange, I really miss that car and hope I can someday get my hands on a Hemi orange SRT8 Chally to replace it..
Would go very nice next to my 05 R/T Magnum!

That is because those Ford Mustang GT guys don't want to be left staring at the Challenger's rear LED's when it leaves them behind.

Thats a nice charger you had there, was the R/T a Hemi or 440,383? I like that the mustang owners are thinking about getting a chally, maybe dodge will sell out in '09 and will build more than 30,000 in 2010.

Yea DK it was a 440 car (R/Ts were either 440 or Hemi only) I used to love eating Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs for lunch, had 3:91 Shuregrip, with just a little bit of roll the thing would launch like a rocket, from a standstill it would just light'em up. The owner before me had stripped the vinyl top off (really good job BTW) so when I first saw the Chally concept you can guess what memory that invoked within myself!
I would always have a dream of that car on the average of twice a year, That stopped when it was announced that they would build the Challenger..

wow you must really like the way the challenger looks cause to sell a car that you can beat just about everybody on the street with that gotta be hard

Must have been a fun time taking those Old's and Pontiac's DodgeDriver, Hopefully we can still do that in the new Challenger!
