Which are you :

Road Runner - a driver who pushes the car to it's limits on the highways and backroads and seeing how well it handles corner and hugs the road at high speeds (kinda like the
driver who drove the Ford GT in the opening Superbowl commercial a couple of years ago. When filmed, the helicopter pilot was having a difficult time keeping up with him).

Drag Racer - a driver whose heart is pumping with adrenaline waiting for the light to turn green and blow the doors off the guy next to him.

So which camp are you in ?

Maybe you just like to cruise the US Highways sightseeing at 55 MPH........ I don't think anybody is like that on this post.

Which is it Road Runner or Drag Racer and tell us why?

 

Both depending on the car beside me. Some I like to see trying to handle the curves and others I just like to see beat in a straight line.

Varies according to mood, vehicle I'm in, road conditions.... I'm both, just at different times....

 

Drag!!! that 1/4 mile is fun!!! feeling the gforce.

 

i have a car that pounds the quarter, and another that pounds the corners...

 

I like both but prefer road runner. I like the feel of coming out of the corners and feeling the G forces. I like having to down shift then up shift. And when on the bike, I love the feeling of going low and on the turns trying to get the knee to scrape against the ground. Haven't done it yet, but getting there.

 

What an excellent question. It would be hard for me to choose one or the other. I completely enjoy carving corners on the highway. But if you have something to prove, please take it to the track, fellas. Be it road course, or quarter mile. Do the right thing.
It has been said that drag racers drive a quarter mile to the finish line, while road course guys drive around and around looking for the finish line. Hehehe, cute.

 

Last night I saw a show called Top Gear which is a British show. They showed how the Mitsubishi Evolution could keep up with a Lambo Murcielago
on the straight and the corners. Eventually the Lambo spun out on the corner and lost.

That is one amazing little car.
