While I love the functional shaker hood, I voted for the rear spoiler and will keep with the dual front butterfly valves.

Gotta have the side stripe. Why? Because while my '70 originally was Plum Crazy, as my new one will be, it had a black vinyl top. Believe it or not, that combination actually looked a lot better than solid-Plum-Crazy cars. After all, a little purple goes a long way and you really need something to break it up -- especially since the new Challenger lacks the chrome accents of the iconic model.

By the way: We need to start a poll on whether people who refer to the Challenger as a "Chally" should be:

1. Beaten with a belt

2. Horsewhipped

3. Tarred and feathered

4. Taken out and shot

In the '70s, you could have suffered any of these fates for demeaning the legendary name like that.

Stock for me please. No offense...I just don't like to clutter up what I consider perfection with trinkets.

I have never liked it when people referred to is as Chally. That sounds condescending to me.

Think about if we call the Viper.......Vipey. Somehow it loses it's Bad to the Bone demeanor.

Beat, tar, feather, then take them out and shoot them with a slug. There enough said!

I feel much better now. LOL!

I guess you better include Vette & Stang in there as well. (Although a girlfriend in high school always referred to her Vette...she drove a Chevette...[8D])

Let's hope the production version retains functional hood scoops. The one on the Charger SRT just cools the engine!
