ATTN: All Challenger Owners!!
Are you a current or former Challenger owner? IF so, let me know via PM, and I will change your user title to reflect that you are/were a Challenger owner. Please just include whether you have it or not anymore, and what year it was! Thanks, and welcome to the forum!

New 09 Challenger Owner
I had a 1970 Challenger in the early 80's. 
If i knew then what i know now. 
I bought an 09 challenger SRT8 about 4 weeks ago. Love it............
Just came back from th Mopar shootout, went up with a built up 08 challenger and a Viper. Top speed was 158mph on the way up.
I have already changed the intake and exhaust. Cant seem to drive it enough. I wish there was a club based around the newer challengers here in Arizona.

You are very lucky as you live in the land of....."Paladin" aka Greg...owner of the one and only "CRUSH" his '08 SRT. He is from Queen Creek...I am from Mesa and on many weekends you will find "CRUSH" and sometimes myself at the car show located at the K-mart parking lot on Power Road. There seems to be more Challenger owners in the area...so a Challenger "get together" would not be that hard to arrange....
(By the way....The Mopars Unlimited of Arizona car club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00, at Bill Luke Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in their service dept area...stop by if you can.....)

Thanks for the info. I have been going down to the Pima Crossing on Satuday nights, but i seem to be one of maybe two that show up down there. Me and my wife went with a car club to the Mopar shootout and we had a blast. looking forward to more of that. What is the cross streets to the Kmart you are reffering to? and what time does it start? I will swing up this Saturday.
I looked at the web site for the The Mopars Unlimited of Arizona car club, but i only saw one newer challenger.
I am really looking forward to beefing mine up, so i would love to talk to other people and see what they have done and how its worked out.
I am currently looking at a Pro Charger self contained super charger. I watched an 08 run at the strip in vegas who had that setup and he ran in the mid 10's.

I maybe attending the "Field of Dreams" Car Show this Saturday at Tempe Diablo Stadium it's associated with the "Copperstate 1000" Car Rally/Race. If so I will not be at the K-mart Show...
The one Challenger you saw in the 2008 HEMI, Phoenix in the Fall Car show Gallery was mine. At the time I was the only member with a new Challenger...in fact I won first place in my class.."2003 and up stock HEMI cars". There are now others that own new Challengers and many who own LX cars (Magnums, Chargers etc).
