Another Newby here-I've been jonesin over this car since Dodge unveiled it. Got a call form a dealer yesterday that they had a used 09 Black RT 6 speed with 800 miles on it! Well make a long story short - it's in the garage. The wife test drove it and loved it (shes a motorhead) Said it was the fastest car she'd ever driven! It loaded leather nav, sunroof, trak pack, It is by far the coolest car I've ever owned!

 

One of the coolest things about this car is the little Icon that pops up when you trun off the traction control! The little car with the burnout marks behind it_Just too cool

 

Congratulations and welcome to the forum brentmann... glad to hear you and the mrs. are enjoying the new ride. The car is an awesome example of engineering and workmanship that goes far beyond the ESP indicator light though. as you will see...

Thanks for the welcome! It rained the entire time we drove the car home from the dealer so needless to say I couldn't "get on it" all that much. I am really impressed with the fit and finish of this car! It is truely our dream car. Me and the bride are passionate about the 60's /70's musclecars and Dodge did such a great job recreating a classic. I love the battery in the truck and the old school gas cap! The ride is just so smooth and it handles great too. We plan to hang onto this one for a long long time!

 

Welcome to both the forum and Challenger ownership....you will find that the grin is standard with all the new Challengers, even if it doesn't have it's own indicator light.....
