I currently own a 70 Challenger and await the 08 Challenger so I'll have both. The 70 was a California car, factory 383, automatic w/console, and a/c . This was a little boring so.... It got a 505 hp 500 cid factory crate engine, street fighter trans & 3:91 posi. I even kept the a/c on it. The flat hood would not fit with the 500 inch as it sits too high. I put a T/A hood on and it fits fine. This car is a handfull !!! It will break the tires loose easily from a 40 roll by just mashing it to the floor in drive when it downshifts. What a blast to drive!

Welcome to the site, dodge238! The thought of a 383 being boring coming from a 215 cubic inch V6 is a foreign thought to me, but I understand the constant want for more power out of your cars. Which crate engine did you use (meaning Wedge or HEMI)?
