Hello to all, ladies and gents, Im new to the forum but been around the mopars for a while. Anyway mama and I are in the market for a new Challenger R/T with the 27j package, just to treat ourselves to a new toy now that the baby seats are in the attic for good. Im sure i will have a lot of questions about the latest in tech, but for now any advice as to where to shop for one, internet, ebay , etc... are they going for sticker or less? also are the R/T,s production limited? or any specific colors that are less produced than others.

Thank you all in advance

Regards and enjoy your rides, soon we will have one too

Welcome to the forum...check your local dealer first, then try other sources as the dealers should be willing to deal now, with the way things are going for the car companies. Good luck, you will not regret having a new Challenger in your garage......

Go to Dodge.com for color/options details. Don't think the R/T is limited production other than business issues with Chrysler. Go to a dealer and get the Challenger Brochure as well. I found a new stripped orange 6 sp R/T on ebay for 29K so there are deals out there. I bought my 09 Black loaded R/T 6 speed USED. So look around and Welcome to the forum. Lots of good characters here!

Oh yeah unless its changed Black seems to be the most common color. It looks great in any color however. I think the challenger registry has a breakdown, based on those who have registered, of the colors.

Thank you for all the advice, I called chrysler today got some info, here it is straight from the horses mouth, the lifetime powertrain warranty only applies to the original purchaser, i guess its just the way it is. but if the deal is right I would buy from an owner, but of course i prefer not to. anyway guys and gals, what is it like when you peel it back, does she scream thank you again cant wait till we have our own. I will keep you posted.
