Greeting All,

Just joined and I've already gleened some great info from the forum. Anyway, I'm the proud owner of an '09 SRT8, Brilliant Black Pearl with 6-speed and "Trak-Pac". She came home on Halloween, which given the "wickedness" level, seems appropriate.

Isn't Black actually an "absence" of color? I'm just asking??

If that's the case, then my Dodge dealer should refund the price of my paint.....

Actually, black is a combination of ALL colors, which obviously weights the car down. White, on the other hand is the absence of all color, which lightens the load considerably. Hence, a white SE is as fast as a black SRT.

Whoo sorry, but no. White is a combo of all colors making it quite heavy. Black represents the absorption of all colors making it even MORE heavy. Whereas, Bright silver reflects everything remaining ultra light and quick. Hence, QuickSilver, Silver Surfer (the coolest Super Hero), Silver Bullets (power to kill wearwolves), Silver Stakes (power to kill Vampires), and the list goes own and own. SILVER ROCKS!!!

This thread has gotten "off color", I'll just drive off into the sunset (no color mentioned) while you two try and figure out whether silver or white is faster.....

That's what they taught us in art in High School . But what about all that metallic in it . What a great way to show the absence of color than on the Challenger.
