I was so interested in the new Challenger that I went surfing and found this site. I hope I can help any one out with the knowledge I have from owning my Challenger for over 26 years. It is a modified 1971. The engine, interior, trans , rearend and the exterior have all been changed. I have owned this car for most of my life and consider it a part of the family. I plan on buying a 2008 Challenger SRT-8. This is the car I have been waiting for, for a long time. I hope to talk to all of you and hear your interesting stories. Ya'll have a nice evening and stay safe.

Welcome to the forum. With your knowledge about the original Challenger, I believe you will be an asset to the forum. Be sure to visit the 1970-1974 topics, there are members who have questions about restoring their Challengers and could use your advice. Also, don't forget to stop in the Challenger in the Press and other topics. It would be great to have another person's perspective.

Yeah, I have some pictures at my house in SC. I'm working in NC and I won't be going home for a couple of more weeks. I've got quite a few pictures I've taken over the last 29 years. I also own a 1970 GTX. Thanks for the welcome and I hope to communicate with everyone in the months to come. My Challenger is painted white, like one of the most famous Challengers, from the movie Vanishing Point. I'll try to find some pics at my sons house and post them. My 2008 SRT-8 Challenger will also be white. See ya'll. Randy.
