I have decided that I am tired of GMs crap and will forego the new Camaro, which I still LOVE, and buy an 08 Challenger. Still keeping my Silverados (2), but as for muscle cars, I think I'm a MOPAR guy now.

Happy to have another convert. Welcome to the site, My First Mopar! What caused you to decide to switch over to Mopar?

 

GM forecasted stupidity. I can't say that I am fully here yet, but if GM does what they normally do, be stupid and put a HO5.3 in the Camaro and call it an "SS", I'll be in a Challenger. However, if they surprise me, and put the LS3 in it, I'll have to reconsider. As it stands, I'll be in a Challenger sooner than I think. But only if its 425-450 with a T56.

 

Welcome to the forums and 425 HP is not a problem. We are hoping for more and my get it. But if not, Mopar Performance can take you where you want to go. SRT-8 and a 6-speed in a Challenger will be a smooth ride. But I think that the HP from Dodge, Ford and Chevy will be close... but the styling will be different, very different. And that is where the choice will be made by most, then add cost. Good luck and I hope you get what you want.
