Mopar Muscle Mag - ProCharger on a Charger
Just got my June 2008 copy of Mopar Muscle. There is an article that starts on page 44. It covers pre-mod dyno to install complete dyno on a Daytona Charger. I hate the car but the engine comparison is important. This is a 5.7 Litre that dyno'ed 225 RWHP on a Mustang dyno. After ther install of the ProCharger system, which inlcudes Diablo computer softwear mod, the car made 325 RWHP. Now that is significant!!
So my question is the numbers Chrysler is stating must be crank HP for the Challenger NOT RWHP, correct??

Yes factories always state crank/flywheel horsepower. In the US it is generally reffered to as horsepower but in other parts of the world it is reffered to as brake horsepower bhp. I do not know of a signal manufacture that tells rwhp numbers.
By the way the 225rwhp number seems pretty low. I would expect it to be in the 270rwhp area... I guess their mustang dyno is reading really low.

Yes, I thought so and that being said the 5.7 is weak at best. Only 225 RWHP? I got a little trouble maker in the garage now with 325hp at the front wheels on only 8 pounds of boost. If I bump iy to 12psi well, it get real excititing..
