Default Camaro Giveaway

I happened to notice two billboards yesterday that were advertising the fact that a 2010 Camaro is to be given away during this year's Alamo Bowl game (apparently through the Dr Pepper Co., as the soda pop was featured prominently on the ads). I'm half-tempted to register for the drawing, because on the off-chance I'd win the car, (1) I would have a 2010-model car in 2008 (the game is set for Dec. 29) and (2) I could humiliate GM by driving it straight from the Alamodome to Fiesta Dodge and trading it in on another Challenger!

I stopped today and picked up two entry blanks to mail in. Here's the description of the Camaro:

2010 Chevy Camaro including: V6 SFI engine, cruise control, On-Star with 1 year Safe and Sound Plan. AM/FM stereo with CD/MP3 player. Automatic transmission. ARV: $32,500.

Thirty-two THOUSAND dollars??????? I can trade it for an R/T!!!!!!

Yeah, go back and look at the post that was put on the forum. A few guys said goodbye to the Challenger and hello Camaro. But it like I always say... wait until they hit the street and then talk. Same thing was said about the weight of the Challenger. A few said good bye fat pig and were off to wait on the oh so ligter by 200lbs Camaro. And next was HP. So let em go and live in their world of rumors and inuendo. I'll just stay here and enjoy the Challenger, just like I have with my 71 for 30 plus years

With the way GM is going, having only enough money to last through the beginning of next year (without Government Bailout Money)......the new Camaro may just be rarer than the new Challenger...think I'll mail in a couple of entry blanks so that I can sell it at the next Jackson Barrett Auction should I win………..
