Is the challenger the real deal?

RE: Is the challenger the real deal?
Real deal: legitimate; the genuine article; all it's cracked up to be. While certain among us may lament the changes necessitated by the demands of large scale series production, and the costs, regulations, and compromises attending thereto, the Challenger remains a faithful adaptation of the original Challenger and Challenger Concept to the modern era in which we reside.

RE: Is the challenger the real deal?
I'd have to say better than the real deal. I own a 71 Challenger and this car (2008) from what I've read is more comfortable to drive, easier to drive, has more creature comforts. My 71 takes all my attention to keep it on the road... unlike my 91 Stealth that you just aim. An old Challenger looks good and has the appeal, but it takes alot of effort to keep it on the road. All 2008 have the 6.1 Hemi and I'd say that <10% of the 70-71s were Hemis. I'm taking in account as to how much we have advanced on the auto evolution to the point of where we are today. I love my 71 and look forward to driving it as much as possible, but the 2009 I will purchase will be a more comfortable driver Resale value is anyones guess and can only be a speculation. I know what my 71's value is and I can only guess at the 2009. So yeah its the real deal and then some

It's as real as it gets. I recently drove mine into a Ford, Chevy, Pontiac and Toyota dealership and emptied out both the showroom and the service bay areas at all of them. They swarmed the car like bees to honey.
I think that says it all.
