I guess I will post too...
Hey guys. Many of you know me already, but in case you don't, my name is Kelly. Yes, I know it's a girl's name. I own the website Kelly's Cars, and I wrote the Dodge Challenger history on allpar.com when I was fourteen or fifteen, and then wrote the detailed history last year (I am 24 now).
The Dodge Challenger has been deeply engrained in my pscyhe. My father bought two Challengers in 1984, a 1971 green 318 Highline (JS23G1E), and a 383 R/T SE (JS29N0x) parts car for about 1500 bucks or so. He was never a big mopar nut, just a gear head.
He tooled around in the '71. It was grey primer when he got it, and he painted it orange primer. He put the '70's snorkel hood and burnt orange leather buckets in it (any guesses as to where MY leather seat came from in my signature?).
I discovered Mopars when I was 11, and in a Wal-Mart with my mother and stepdad. It was the January 1994 High Performance Mopar issue with Ricky Moat's '70 Challenger Rod on the cover. My father sold the old orange heap to Greg Bulinger, a short time after (great freakin' timing!) who made it a red/white/white 440 Magnum Clone (yes, I know they never made U code cars in 1971), who later put a four speed and a six pack on that car. I have not seen her since 1996.
Ever since then I absorbed any Mopar info I read (I could decode Mopars by the time I was 12).
I bought my first mopar when I was 14, a $50 1978 Slant Six Volare (HL41C8F251183) from my stepdad. I junked that thing a year later (it was pretty rusty and dead) and purchased a 1973 Buick Century, with a healthy 350/350 tranny, which I transplanted in to a 1971 Stratomist Blue, White vinyl top (26A) Skylark Coupe. I wrecked that car two years later (17 by this time), and replaced the frame with a 1969 Chevelle unit.
I moved to California, with an associate's in GM A-bodies, and purchased my first Real Mopar, a 1958 Dodge (which I sold last year, and briefly owned a 1956 Chrysler New Yorker (pink/white, white leather, 354 Hem/powerflite) iI learned a lot about Mopars, and by the time I moved to Arizona in August 2005, I had a Master's in Forwardlook Mopars.
I have no car now, just my 1990 Suzuki Katana 600. I have made a vow to myself that when I make the transition back to four wheels, it will be my '70 or '71 Dream that has been so elusive to me since I was 11.
Even though I am still a young kid, I can crunch numbers, and bench talk with a lot of older guys and know what the hell I am talking about. If you guys have any questions about the Challengers, ask me. I am on this board to spread what I know about these cars, and to learn what I don't know.
Yeah, the new Challenger is pretty sweet, but my Challenger must have the all umbiquious W23 on it's fender tag! (Any takers for that fender tag code?)

RE: I guess I will post too...
I am old, 39 y/o I am a physician and work in a busy, urban ER. Currently trying to leave the medical field and go sell cars (seriously) . My fellow docs and family think I have gone crazy, maybe they are right.
I split my time between Jupiter in S Fla, located in Northern Palm Beach County and S Calif in Rancho Santa Fe(near La Jolla).
I have no MOPAR experience at all however I have always loved the Challenger/Cuda. I enjoy motorsports esp WRC, IRL, NASCAR and ALMS. I am an ex-owner in a M3 racing team that ran ALMS for two years.
I have had 5 BMW's , all kinds, but 3 were M3's and a 740i and 540i. My current daily driver is my 06 ZCP M3. The STi gets broken out often as the wife is usually speeding around in that one. The X-Terra is the jack of all trades truck for beach running, dogs, kids, etc..
I also have two bikes a new Triumph Speed Triple and a custom built Chopper.
Oh yeah, am married for 17 happy years LOL (as happy as one can be w/ a wife and 2 kids) suking the life out of me. The kids are a girl 11 and boy 6.
Other cars in the family stable currently or recent past are a Maybach 57, Ferrari 360 F1 Vert, Bently Cont. GT, SL 600, and a few Lexus's.
OH sh*t I forgot we used to have a Jeep 5.9 Limited that we kept at our home in Beaver Creek, CO.
Anyway thats it I guess.

RE: Come on in!!
My name is Eric, married and have 3 great sons. Have a plumbing business in New Port Richey Florida. Owned a 1974 Dodge Challenger from 74 till I sold her in 86. Don't bash me as I now own several Ford F150's, a F250, and an F350. But I am looking forward to owning a 08 Challenger as I'm on the list here close to home. Spend most of my free time fishing with my family in tournaments from Louisiana around Florida and up the east coast to South Carolina. We are waiting on our new 32 Yellowfin to be completed, heck maybe I'll get lucky, the boat and 08 challenger will be here before the end of the year. If you want, check out our site: http://www.comfortablynumb2.com/ Oh ya if ya can't tell I'm also a big Pink Floyd fan. Never to old for that!!

Jim (52) and my wife Pam (she would kill me if I told her age ), from Pasadena, Texas. I work for an electric utility company and she is medically retired from the medical field.
We currently own a 2001 Impala and a 2005 GTO. We enjoy going to the track and making and filming some runs in the Goat.
Looking very forward to see what comes of the new Challenger.

RE: Come on in!!
Hey. Age 13. Me name's Tanner. Live in Idaho Falls, ID. Don't have a car. Hope to get the ol' 67 Cuda or 2008 Challenger.
Dad had a 72' Chally but sold it to get a more "family friendly car!".[:'(][:@] Could made some money. Dang, if he had only knew.
Anybody know what a 67' Cuda could be sold for? My dad says 5 G's. Engine is stone cold stock. No soft top.
