Dodge Demon concept

What the Chinese production source means for the quality of the finished product is still a major unknown.

The few cars exported form China so far suffer from poor quality and engineering standards in comparison to their Western and Asian competition.

Is this really a good idea for a company that is trying to improve the public's perception of quality in Chrysler vehicles??

Good point Paladin06...they shouldn't make the entire frame out of lead...just key components!

Chrysler, for crying out loud look at the track record of your outsourced models success as opposed to creating it yourself. Everytime they outsource to anyone else it is rarely a homerun. Going Chinese is the complete wrong direction. Use the Crossfire platform if you have to, just don't use Chery. If they would use the Caliber platform, make it RWD and AWD for an option, this would be fine. For crying out loud, why didn't they name this the Nitro and the SUV something else (how about the Aspen and called the Aspen the Imperial).
