This is not the same car you are talking about, but have you ever heard of the Pantera that Ford used to sell back in the 70's.

That was a cool looking car.

well, ford has decided that they made the words "mustang", "stang", and "pony" famous...so they are suing anyone who uses them in a business or website name. right now, they are working their way through performance shops and companies..suing for things like illegal use of "their words". they are even suing for things like "past warranty issues", saying that these performance shops contribute to their warranry costs.

the reason that the mustang is so famous is because of the low price, and the ability to build them up...so now ford is putting the companies who make their cars faster, out of business.

Ghee, what a wonderful publicity stunt. That will hurt them more than it will help them. What moron came up with that idea? They will make enemies so fast. Those companies were giving them practically free advertising. Fools![:@]

That is a stupid excuse. That ranks right next to "The Devil made me do it." They need to grow up. I question how smart Bill Ford really is. That company needs to hire outside of the family if you ask me.

I agree. The company seems to be going down the hill, and then some. At this point I don't think I would ever buy another ford again.

I feel the same way about not feeling like buying another Ford at this point. I'm not going to help a company that isn't trying hard enough, even if I have ties to it. There line-up is too dull. DCX has earned my trust and sales by making products I like.
