Funny car stuff

This is so funny. I wonder what the police officer thought about it. I can just imagine what going through his mind when he saw this.

It's rare anymore to get more than what you pay for...The Kern County, California, Sheriff's Department orders plain white patrol units & has the graphics applied locally. In this case, what they ordered was not quite what they got.

This car was driven for 1 week before an officer noticed what the graphics company employee did on the passenger side of the car. The employee did this on his last day working for the graphics company before he retired.

I dont' want to say anything bad about these guys and I really appreciate the service they do.

Take a look at this clip. I think I saw this on TV before.

This is a Mustang about to be devoured by a Challenger: http://www.kit-cars.com/videos/Blonde_Antelope.wmv

IL Insider: Ford GT Chief Designer Branches Out Into Bridal Gowns, Swimwear
Date posted: 05-26-2006

DEARBORN, Mich. — Camilo Pardo, the chief designer of the Ford GT, has been spending his spare time creating such unusual fashions as a micro-miniskirt and top made of aluminum discs provided by automotive supplier Northern Engraving and Machine.

Pardo told Inside Line, that he has unveiled a Mercury-branded clothing collection, including one piece inspired by a silver racing suit — but with a skirt instead of legs.

Pardo, 43, has also created a disposable wedding gown and a bikini made out of three Crown Royal whiskey bags. The Colombian-born designer owns several Singer sewing machines and makes his own clothing patterns. In his day job, he is working on Ford vehicles that will hit showrooms in 2012.

"If I go for a certain look, I will purchase a pattern and modify it from there or put tape lines on a female model — a real person — the way I put tape lines on a car," he explained. "I can make the patterns of an outfit. But the real person works better, because you design it right to her surfaces. The Mercury fashions are my patterns completely."

What this means to you: A bikini with a racing stripe? Not too much of a stretch for this designer. Imagine what kind of women's wear Harley Earl would have designed if he had tried this sideline

There are hundreds of those violent stick figure cartoons on the web that my sons have shown me and they are very funny but violent as all get out.

They still make me laugh but I would not share those with anybody very young and impressionable.

Boy I would have pooped a brick and shot some holes in my engine if this had happened to me.

Why This Guy Was Late for Work...READ THIS PARAGRAPH BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES .

This will freak you out.

A guy in St. Louis was driving to work on Hwy I-44 when he heard a 'pop.' He thought it sounded like a flat tire, though his ride wasn't affected. After pulling over, checking the tires and finding them intact he opened the hood to look at the motor.
Before the hood was even all the way open he jumped back in shock and knocked his head on the partially opened hood, unable to believe what his eyes were seeing!
Nobody was going to believe this! You sure wouldn't have either! Fortunately, a coworker with a camera recognized him along side the road and stopped to see if he could help. Check out the photos below to witness for your self the source of his amazement.

Now, this has to be right up there at the top of the list of unusual but verified"Reasons I was late for work."

Now that is a bloody mess!;) That is unusual to say the least. It probably did sound like a blown tire do to the hissing. Okay a corny joke but I had to say it. It looks like the snake pulled off the drive belt, I wonder what other damage was done.

Of course you have, it was called a Pinto. The Pinto had every characteristic of a jack @$$, it refused move (or start for that matter), it was slow, it was noisy, and stubborn.

RE: Funny car stuff

I had totally forgotten about the Pinto. That was such a poorly designed car. I do remember that there were a lot of gear heads
that would reinforce that chassis and put a big engine in it and do wheelies.

We inherited one from my Grandfather (I'll scan a picture and show it to you and then you will understand why we held on to it). He made it into a parade car. We are trying to figure out a replacement platform. An early 90s 5.0 Mustang is on the list.

Putting a powerful engine in a Pinto sounds like a waste to me. I wouldn't doubt it would do wheelies.

To say the least. What kind of mileage do you think it gets? 5 gallons per mile.;) Now all we need is a person to come up and ask "Does that got a HEMI?"

Good Grief, that pile of stuff is higher than the car is. I'm surprised the roof hasn't caved in. Talk about being "top heavy."

I noticed. I can't imagine it was intended to have that much weight put on it. I hope they didn't blow the struts doing that.

This is funny. I wish my grandmother knew this much about Hemi's and butterfly valves.

I would imagine most of you have not seen this since you don't live in Texas. This is a current running commercial in Texas.

This is one of those times when you DON'T want X-ray vision. Now that is an interesting new alternative fuel. Fill her up with Crapoline, make that the premium level. He would have a real need for an air freshner.

Well I didn't know I had family members in Texas.:D My family is full of gear heads on both sides of the family. I can actually carry on a conversation with my mother about cars because she is even a gear head. Cool commercial to say the least even though the 440 wasn't a HEMI. Thanks for sharing.
