In the business section of today's newspaper (Dec. 4), there was an article about an additional 789 Chysler/Dodge dealers that have been scheduled for closing as part of its restructuring. This is on top of the bloodbath that occurred in June!

One ray of hope is that the affected dealers will be provided with an opportunity for a face-to-face review, as well as binding arbitration for those who challenge the closure of their showrooms. Chrysler said that its review process would start Thursday.

 

Would be interesting to see the latest list of which dealerships are being targeted.....

 

the article i read said they were reconsidering the closings
due to court cases, the feds are investigating the closures
as quite a few very profitable dealerships were added to
the chopping block with no explination other than a senator
or congressman wasnt in their corner.
