Default An idea for the Avenger

I was reading motor trend magazine last month and noticed the dodge avenger finished tenth in a ten car field in regards to overall value. The interior and 4 speed automatic transmission were the low points. I know the company is addressing the interior issues but what about the engine? I have always thought it would be great to see the Caliber SRT 4 engine in the Avenger. Forget the SRT badging and ground affects. Adjust the handling and brakes just enough to make the ride good. Basically build the Avenger with the peppy 2.4L turbo and see what happens. I for one would love to see this car built. Keep the price in the low 20's and I would bet people would buy it. The car would get about 25 miles per gallon on the highway and be sporty to drive in the city. Any thoughts?

The Avenger replaced the Stratus and it had a turbo but you could only get it outside of the USA
