A local guy owns the one of a kind Dodge Charger Daytona driven by David Spade and is going to have it on display at a local Mopar show. Any Marylanders or people nearby should come see it!

I remember seeing the car parked all by itself with no one around at a Mopar show in Van Nuys before the movie came out...remember thinking, how could anyone display a car that looked so bad at a show, for it even had candy wrappers on the dash. I was happy to learn later that the car was madeup for the upcoming movie "Joe Dirt". (By the way, the car was really nice looking before Hollywood did their magic on the Daytona).

I have pictures!
The front of the car. I missed it in the picture but there's a certificate of authenticity about the car, and the dummy inside, which has David Spade's mullet wig and shirt, and all the other such stuff in the car.
As soon as my phone finishes sending the side-view picture, I will post it as well. It's pretty cool to see an authentic movie car, especially a mopar. Enjoy, Moparheads!
EDIT: Got the other pic!
There you can see the dummy a little better, and get another angle of the car. I meant to get an interior shot but forgot.

There's a story that the guy's girl would not ride in the car after Hollywood added their Joe Dirt touches............

Yeah, I saw some pictures online of the purple and that was irritating. It was beautiful and they did that. I wish I could have actually opened the hood to get a better look but it was roped off, but my stepdad knows the guy who owns it now so maybe I can get a look at it that way.
