Mostly a validation of what I have been reading but very well written. Now we just have to be patient. LOL! Like we haven't been all year!

Very nice, you may very well be right about a Cuda. I would love to see a sister car to the new Challenger come out. But with the Challenger concept spy photos leak last year they may keep this under tight wraps for now. So I don't see the powers that be will let this out just yet. Even if it is all true and spot on DCX will not let that happen again. Also DCX needs this release of the new Challenger to be big, real BIG. Rumors of a Cuda right now may make some people wait for it instead of buying a Challenger. Who knows they may have built a Chrysler Cuda concept first before the new Challenger Concept was ever born.

I was reading in an old Motor Trend where they mentioned this possibility. They were correct about how the LX cars were going to look like so I wouldn't be surprised. The only problem I have with this is I think they need to make this a Plymouth, not a Chrysler. I know Plymouth is dead, but I think that would be a neat strategic move. I don't like them using the Chrysler division as the role for the Plymouth division. Even if the Cuda would be the only Plymouth it would still be a better idea. The Cuda should be marketed to compete directly with the Mustang and Camaro in terms of pricing as the Plymouth division was supposed to compete with Ford and Chevrolet.

plymouth was basically a performance lineup, and was low-buck...and there have been rumors over the past few years of the performance models becoming plymouths, but there is no proof of that...

Yeah I read about that rumor. Plymouth was a budget performance brand and could really be used for this car. In fact, they could use Plymouth right now with a few other cars, but that is a little off topic.

i saw a special a few years back about the GTO in the earlier years, and they were interviewing the then-president of pontiac...and they were saying how dominant the goat was...and the pres from pontiac said "then chrysler came out with the damned hemi...and it ruined everything for us..and he laughed nervously"...
then they showed plain jane hemi roadrunners on polyglass pounding GTOs...

That is what made Plymouth successful. They offered among the best performance for the best price. What killed Plymouth is they removed all the performance from them and made them undesirable at the end. The Prowler was an insult to Plymouth's heritage, it should have either been used to try to revive Eagle or given to Chrysler initially.
