I had a chance to drive an SRT 8 Jeep Cherokee. Although this is a very heavy vehicle at 5,000 lbs., it has an incredible launch due to the 4-wheel drive- absolutely no tire spin with 425 horses! Just a sling shot take-off.

Has anyone else driven one of these beasts? It would be next to impossible to beat in a stop light race.

 

Drove one at the SRT experience and those things are fast. If I see one at a light I don't think I'd challenge it. Coming off the line would be embarrassing for our Challenger's.

 

Sounds fun. Maybe I'll have to invest in one when I get married or something. Anyone know if they tow any good?
