A New Challenger Guy Was Born Today
My son and his wife had a beautiful baby boy today at noon. He was wanting me to ride him home from the hospital in my Challenger SRT. That would be an awesome first ride but I don't think it will happen unless I give him the keys. Most likely she will be able to come home from the hospital Wednesday. Wednesday I have an all day meeting, which I might have to be dismissed a little early. I'm not sure how a car seat will fit but it would be an awesome first ride to start the baby book with. His name is Gavin. His mom was having extremely high blood pressure so they took him a little early today. He still weighed 6#15oz and was 19.5 inches long. So I have had a great day today and we have a very new Challenger lover.

I had to laugh when you were talking about a baby seat. Somehow, my parents got me safely home from the hospital in 1955 in the front seat of a 1950 Ford with no seat belts, no padded dash ... no "safety" anything. Oh, wait ... in those days, people were smart enough to not run into stuff!

Congrats, 70sguy on the newest addition to the family...remember, buy him only Mopar cars for toys (gives you a good reason to shop for toys...and pick one up for yourself at the same time)
Just keep him from going over to the dark side....Chevy and Ford...it's up to you to keep him on the "right" side....
Again....a big Congrats to you and your son (and his wife, since I am sure she had something to do with the happy event as well......
(Now you have to keep your Challenger, so that you can hand him the keys when he turns 18....wait make that 25.....)

Thanks everyone it was a pretty neat experience. I look forward to watching him grow. I can't wait until he grows up a little and ask grandpa take for for a ride to get an ice cream or shake. Those will be some good days too.
