Hi, Just picked up a New Challenger R/T - Black 5.7 Manual tran about 10 days ago. I hope I get used to the stares and the pointing .. :-)

This is the second forum I've joined. Looking forward to a bunch of great tips on what the best Mods are to do etc...

any suggestions would be great!

Congrats,tell us about your ride.What kind of deal did you get? Did you buy it from a dealer that is goin to keep sellin Dodges? Was it what you wanted,or did ou have to take just what they had? Congrats again,and I will be anxious to hear all about your ride,

 

Well, I was on a mission. went to like 6 ,kinda local, dealers after searching the dodge database of inventory and window stickers for a few days. I also had an 07 Aspen that I was trading in that I was upside down on :-(
First choice was a loaded R/T Manual 6.1. Wound up getting a loaded R/T AUTO ( second choice) from a big guy who's not closing down. He offered me 20% more on my trade than anyone else. BTW. ALL the dealers I went to had just one or two on the lot and many of the local dealers were sold out. All of them were quoting STICKER. no discount but no crazy markups either.

I'm real happy with this vehicle. Black w/ silver R/T stripes Nav, Sirius, bluetooth.. looking forward to adding an cat back and whatever else I can to get the horses up and make it SOUND like a Challenger!

Yes it's hard having to put up with all the stares and pointing, but it's a cross we New Challenger owners must bear...Just remember ....you are now a rock star as you drive your Challenger...and it's just something you will have to live with.....

By the way...good pick on the color........
