These 2 guys have already been banned.

The only way I could stop it was going into the User CP and shut down the PM from this forum. Since I did this I have not got hit again. It's sad a person has to go to this step but at lease it stopped for me.

Has anyone looked into this???

It's a plug in that's supposed to check for bots while the user is registering.

I too am tired of opening junk PMs. I also turned off PM in the userCP, at least for now.

had 5 today when i get back to work and checked the forum this am
so im going to shut down the forum PM option, also getting tired of it.
it seems we have more spammers than real members joining now.:mad:

The non-stop SPAM has caused me to folow suit and shut down messaging and emails. I spent hours over the course of three days re-imaging a laptop due to this type of activity from a social network site (daughter clicked on something unknowingly).

SWEEEEETTTT shut down the PM option and came to the site this am
and found NO spam. NIIIIIICE.

if it ever gets straightened out let the site know so those of us that turned
of the PM option can turn it back on.

I agree!! turned it off too, no more emails.

I haven't turned mine off and have not received anything for the last several days.

Maybe all of that banning helped.

We shall see.
