Default Nice Picture of the Old Challenger

How dense am I? It wasn't until I saw this picture that I realized what the concept car's hood was emulating.

Nice job, really.

(Note the shaker hood in the background)

The concept went one better, as it has butterfly vents in the slots that actually open to supply underhood air.... of course, as Patrick has pointed out, the air intake is way up front, so I don't think it's actually supplied to the induction system... just a nice visual touch!

The concept model actually has ducts in the hood (hence the bulge) that feed the air to the air filter. So the induction scoops actually work.

...my Shaker idea would likely be just visual... [>:]

Great pictures. Oh, the Challenger was a hot car in both performance and appearance, and it looks like it will be both again!

i dont know that anyone has provided adequate pictures to show that it feeds the air intake? i mean, it has to be restrictive as all hell...i wish that i could find a shot of the underside of the hood...

how about one of the original Dodge Challenger Concept?

Why can't more cars look like that?
