ok i whats the deal with its movie

ok its my brithday next week and i was wantin 2 go 2 a movie and i saw comersals for "Grindhouse" and i looked in to this movie and have heard that its 2 movies and 1 and i would like 2 know how thats posable. I must be missing something and would really appreaseate it if someone would fill me in

back in the day that would have double feature films, two for one as a way to boost sales and cut costs. Here a wiki link tat prove this.
