In reading the current issue of Car and Driver, I found an interesting ad for a electronic steering wheel lock selling for $69.95.

Click on their website and watch the video. Let me know what you think of it. I may get one for my Challenger.

This is my opinion only. Get a good car alarm system with motion detection, engine kill and GPS locator.

If I am a crook, I would put my ear plugs on, get in the car and close the door so the alarm is not hear well outside the car.
Take a hacksaw and cut the resin arm off and go somewhere in a garage so I let the alarms battery run down then cut it off.

Even if there happens to be steel in the resin arm, that just means you can't rotate the wheel all the way around.

This thing is just too gimmicky for me unless I am missing something.

I don't want to live anywhere near Jeremiah, it sounds like you have some experience first hand. J/K

There are way better alarm systems out there, that I would trust then that one.

I was interested in this device as supplemental protection. I understand that the DCX anti-theft system is one of the most sophicated ones in production cars.
