Default Replace just the one or both?

Last night I had the pleasure of being pulled over (tongue in-check[:@]) and informed that my right head light was out. Now I have to make a decision. I'm naturally going to replace the one the burned out, but my question is should I replace both just incase the other one is about to burn out as well. These might be the original head lights and then again they might not. I have no clue either way about this. Which should I choose to do? Replace both or just the one?

Really, like what? (I have never had to replace my headlights on any car until now). What brand? Where at? What type? I was going to go to O'Reilly's auto parts which is all we have in town besides Wal-Mart and a GM and Ford dealership.

i personally prefer the blue bulbs...or "hyper white".

sylvania makes good bulbs, called "silverstars", but they are fairly pricey.

you can see the color difference here...in the headlights i have "cool blue" bulbs...which are a bit brighter..in the bottom, i have a typically colored bulb.

amanda got bulbs from this company:
http://www.kryptonbulbs.com/

they were a vendor at DF, and have very low prices. amanda got fogs and headlights and they are brighter and more blue than her silver stars, for a fraction of the price.

if you do opt to go through them, let them know where you heard about them...

If I chose that route I will be sure to do so. How long would it take for me to get a set? Also these blue bulbs wouldn't cause any legal problems with the police would it?

ive never had a problem with them, and i have "blue" headlights in her truck, the stratus, the mirada, the bmw, the volvo (moms) and the ramcharger...they arent actually blue...the glass is blue, but when you turn them on, if gives you more of a bright white effect than a blue...where as a regular bulb gives you more of a pale yellow effect.

not to mention that i was a state safety inspector for PA (who has a fairly strict state inspection and emission testing program) and never once did i fail anyone for those types of bulbs.

as for how long it would take, shoot them an email..the owner was very easy to work with when he was a vendor.
