Stereo qusetion

On the 6 disc stereo's (REQ), what is the DVD insignia about. Do not see anything in the book. Does it mean it will support one if plugged in to the aux?

Just a guess but on premium factory systems they reduce the bass output to prevent blowing out speakers so this may be a preamp out for an add on amp/speaker.
