From what I have read it would be the Jaguar XJ 220. That was one fast car.

Okay if you meant which one would I really want, then I'd take the Superbird. I thought what you were asking was which would be the fastest.

Superbird was a 1970 only, not '68.

in a mile race, it would come down to the top speed, and im not sure which of those vehicles has the highest top speed...but im sure that its not the superbird.

In that category, I would say it would be the Jaguar because the top speed for the Jaguar is about 218 mph. The GT is a little over 200. The Viper for who knows why is limited to 190. I don't know how fast the new Jag is supposed to go but I don't think it will exceed the XJ 220. The Lotus looks cool but I don't think it is that fast. The Superbird tops out around 201 mph (remember this car is 36 years old).

for what its worth...wasnt the Jaguar Xj220 out in the early 90s, yet still cost like a half million dollars?

Very true but price is not in the equation, and I suggest we don't start that argument up. It will never end. "I can mod a Viper with the extra money I save from not buying the GT." "Oh yeah, I can modify the Lotus to be faster than the Viper with the money I save on that."

The Jaguar deserves a lot of credit because they still managed to build a supercar that has not been defeated by NON-LUXURY manufacturers back in the earily 90s. Meaning it has been defeated by newer cars, but they are all luxury manufacture brands or Luxury performance brands such as Ferrari.

ok...so excluding price altogether...

the jag is a supercar...and wasnt not a full production car...i wouldnt really consider the viper to be in the same class..
