Texas certainly buys a lot of F150's.

Experian Automotive provides in-depth market statistics to companies throughout the automotive industry - from automakers to dealerships to finance and insurance companies. According to state vehicle registration data compiled by Experian Automotive, the following breakdown outlines the top five states that sold the most new vehicles in September 2006, and the top-selling new make/model in each state:

State Top-Selling Make/Model
1. California Toyota Camry
2. Texas Ford F150
3. Florida Ford F150
4. New York Honda Accord
5. Illinois Toyota Camry

They certainly do. The F-150 has been the best selling full-sized truck for many years (unless you combine the sales of GMC and Chevrolet models). It does not surprise me at all that both IL and California both have the Camry as the most popular model. The people from both states tend to be very similar in the way they think and act. I will say that I'm surprised at the Accord being the most popular for New York. Okay, I'm getting off topic.

Another model worth adding to the chick cars list is the Pontiac Vibe. I would also list most of the compact to mid-sized hybrids also on the chick cars list.

TechmanBD, I don't know, I've known a few chicks that demanded to get the GT model of the Mustang, but those girls were a little more the Tom-Boy type anyways.
