Selling My Challenger

Selling My Challenger
Tearfully, I may have to sell my 74 Chally. I have had all the body work re-done and it's painted. All the pieces are together for the resto project, as well as many new ones I have purchased, but I am moving and can't take it with me.
Can anyone give me an idea on fair market price? I paid $6000 for it, and have since put $4000 into the body sheet metal and paint.
Thanks guys!
Diane

RE: Selling My Challenger
After all that work, just put it on a rental trailer and take it with you.

Yes, I have thought of and seriously considered both of your options. I even went so far as to look into transportation by rail and truck to Cali, but omg..the costs are enormous.
Still not sure what to do, but the gist of this thread was to get an idea on pricing if I do have to do that.
Would $15000 as it sits, be out of the ball park?

RE: Selling My Challenger
I would seriously consider looking at shipping the car out to Cali again. . .I know that moving is expensive and I don't know what other constraints you might be under, but I have looked at shipping at probably over 15 different places to truck ship my '67 Pontiac Firebird (I know, I know it's not a MOPAR) to SoCal from Illinois and the most expensive I price I have been given is $800 all the way down to $600.
When I get home I can look at my paperwork (I saved all my quotes) and get the names and websites and/or phone numbers for the different places I have looked at and pass them on to you if you are interested. PM or email me with your email address if you are interested and I will send them to you ASAP.
Good Luck!
