Default Challenger Classic

Allpar.com has two nice photos of a Hemi-orange Challenger R/T Classic. See:

Wonder why they didn't put a script badge on the grille.

My personal opinion is that any of us could create a Challenger classic with the Mopar Classic chrome wheels and some stripes matching the photo. Also, maybe you put an emblem here or there. I believe this type of Challenger is just no big deal.
The real Challenger classic was produced 1970-1974.

I think the real touch, and money maker, in an R/T Classic would be ohhh... maybe PLUM CRAZY? SUBLIME GREEN? TOP BANNA YELLOW? B5 BLUE? I could go on.
I know that Hemi Orange is a head turner, but you could go farther with CLASSIC colors.

Gimmie a Sublime R/T with classic striping, and some 17 inch Craigar SS's.
To refer to my buddies at AMC (the TV station)

I gotta agree with you, tdub. Hemi Orange, being so closely identified with the SRTs, would be the last color I'd pick for a Classic Challenger. (No, I'm not against Hemi Orange per se. It's just that it belongs with the SRTs, in my opinion.)

I am thinking about ordering a black RT classic. I think the black on black could be a great look. I would be very interested to hear some opinions on this.

From the broucher it looks like you can get Hemi Orange or B5 Blue. I could be mistaken. but thats what it looks like.

Well, that IS one more color than they originally implied. Originally, it appeared they were going to offer only B5 blue.

If it comes in Plum Crazy, I'm all over one. I heard from a dealer they will make some later in the year.
