I also like the door wrap, however I think the stripe should wrap the front lip near the grill / headlights, just as the hood stripe does.

MFIllini5,
The stripes are long enough to do so......put ending the stripes where we did....is where they ended on the original 1970 R/T. There is a body splice front and back.....where you have to cut the stripe.....it makes it a great place to splice and extent the stripe around the front as well as the back. I've been kicking around the idea of wrapping the back!

I think it looks great the way it is. I think wrapping it might lose some of the class of the original style. Just my opinion for whatever thats worth... [8D]

I don't want to sound like a jerk, I do like the stripes and how they come into the door jamb... but what's up with the S, in the SRT??? Kinda looks out of place... or as if it didn't have a place...

Well, I've owned a '70 R/T 440 6-Pack Challenger and a '70 Hemi Cuda. When I purchased this car Dec 3rd of '07....I decided I really wanted to mix the Old and New as best I could.....So Dec 4th '07 I started banging Rider Graphix to build the '70 LWR Body stripe (The Stripe I had on my R/T) and they finally did. I ran with the SRT front fender stripe for about 2 weeks and always thought it didn't bringout the old look to me......so I asked rider to mod it the way I wanted it to look and feel when I say it (s___R/T or special R/T). They built R/T's in the past....I like the original R/T scripting the best...... and this car is an SRT so I had to mix them! The s has a place....Its just not as important to me....what is important is bring back the feeling I had with my Old cars. This is The whole purpose Dodge built this body style.....or they would have built the Mid 80's style.....and we all could be shopping on the import websites! The beauty is.....there are tons of items out there and shops willing to build what you want......everyone can head in the direction they wish! Love It!

Thanks Greg, Very nice explanation of the purpose of the S in the stripe... although I think if you are familiar with the old school... you naturally came to that same basic conclusion... ;)

Just seemed like a natural to me I guess... :)

Man, I just may have to get me a set of those stripes. Did you put them on yourself?

Snap, I really like this. I'd love to copy your stripe but I ordered black. I don't think it'd look nearly as good on it.

No......I had a local graphics shop install them. It was the first set Riders made.....and we had a little trouble with the Rear fender section!! Since then.....riders have made some adjustements to the stripe. You can do it.....but its a (2) person Operation for sure!
